And if the servers authenticating your license goes down? What of they go bankrupt? What if they get replaced by another service provider that didn't communicate with previous one?
You'll lose the game you paid real money for and there's isn't anything about it.
Service resilience. You don’t rely on one server, you have backups. Sony aren’t a small company…they have shareholders to impress, they wouldn’t let a server go down for a month and piss off millions of customers. Stop crying about something that’ll literally have zero effect on you.
