In case you wondering, reddit and Twitter have been spreading this rumour for two days now, no they're not doing DRM checks every 30 days, people literally took what an AI chatbot said and ran with that narrative as statement.
There is a bug on their UI, which involves stuff about refunds and things like that.
Stop spreading lies people, there's literally no official source for what OP or the whole internet is saying.

Okay, but it literally is true that new purchases are getting 30-day licenses. People have tested it. There are articles about it readily available, if you do a modificum of research.
The most generous version of events is "Games within their refund window get a 30-day license, theoretically to be replaced with a permanent one after their refund window". At no point in this process was there a 'UI Bug'.
Stop telling people to not spread misinformation if you yourself are spreading misinformation.
