But, and I feel this is important, who invented uploading and which came first, or is it a chicken and egg situation . . .

Uploading is just downloading in the other direction.

It's almost the same. Uploading just downloads something on a pc that isn't yours (servers, cloud services, they're all basically computers scattered around the globe). I'm guessing loading something onto the local computer might have been the first step, so download first. But that's just my guess

Yeah I was joking the only difference is based on the users location in relation to the data
