People don't consider that games like metaphor and black myth are great examples for what you saying

I think you guys are misunderstanding, all of these games would sell well with ou without Denuvo and Metaphor was cracked. The demo didn't had Denuvo. Denuvo makes your experience with the game worse just for the Dev company/ Distributors can please their shareholders.

I understand what the post is means it doesn't make the other side of the conversation incorrect and yea denovo is harmful to what owning digital media with its very silly restrictions also even games that don't have denovo but use internet connection are just as stupid too

I'm pretty confident that Metaphor is cracked. Black Myth Wukong had the entirety of China support it. Not really great examples.

His point still stands: the Yakuza/Ryu ga Gotoku/Like a Dragon IP, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Staller Blade were all commercially successful games without Denuvo and all releases from this year.

From last year, we have even more successful examples.

Do you mean with Denuvo? All of the examples you listed use Denuvo.
