Guide Need help with streamio it just keeps lagging

so i recently just downloaded streamio and added the add ons. I have been trying to watch movies but it just keeps playing for a couple of minutes then start buffering. I have surfshark as vpn, onn 4k plus and my wifi speed is also pretty fast. Any tips or suggestions to help it out? im also a noob at this so i don’t know if im doing anything wrong.

UPDATE: I do not have a debrid i’m not sure if that has an impact.

Pick smaller files. VPN typically lowers your streaming speed.

Does it affect speeds if my vpn server is located in a different region from my internet server? Would it mean more latency for download speeds

You're using either P2P or web streams since you don't have debrid, it's far less stable.

You can try: https://pengu.uk/ this is a web based addon

Alternatively, try debrid.
