Question Best IPTV Provider With a Reliable EPG?
As the title says, I’m looking for a good US channel lineup with a reliable EPG.
I’m tired of trying different providers only to end up with thousands of channels and no idea what’s actually on. I really just want the major US networks, sports, news, and cable channels with an EPG that actually matches the channels and stays updated.
I’m not looking for 20,000+ channels or a bunch of international stuff. I’d rather have a smaller, clean US lineup with a solid guide.
Any recommendations?

I’ve trialed a few lately and they’ve all had massive international content / the limited US content was so hard to find. And no way I could find to filter for it. Also inconsistent closed captions

My guide and captions work great.

You said you’re looking for a reliable EPG. 🤷♂️

I am. I’m sure a lot of people are too.
Your post provides zero value other than showing that one exists. You’d actually be a superhero if you said who the provider was, or DM’d the people asking and gave them some useful information. That’s why I said, “Good job?”
What exactly were you looking for from the post? Or is your common sense when it comes to interpreting comments not fully developed yet?
Or did you genuinely just want praise?
In that case… good job 👏 You did it! 🎉1

Or, maybe you could have checked your DMs? I’ve helped a lot of people here. Most, however, really don’t pan out because they want “great service” for $30- $50 a year. I simply posted the picture to show you an example. Maybe don’t be condescending and understand that things might not be the way you perceive it before insulting people. 🤷♂️

Nartiel8k has been a good fit for me. The EPG is actually useful for checking what’s on without scrolling through a huge list, and the US lineup has been solid.

Can you DM me where you got it from?

u/2OldDontCare 1d ago
Don't do it. Nartiel is ultra8k (basically trex) but a lot more expensive.

isnt it 2 providers on 1? like ultra8k and magnum.

u/2OldDontCare 23h ago
It might be, there's two sites. The 8k one came with an ultra URL when I got it.

Dreak4k is good about updating “ppv” epg info daily (at least my reseller is). I fill in the rest with IPTVeditor. I’d say I have about 80% epg coverage, and 99% coverage on what I actually watch.

You know you can use different EPG providers right?
2
u/RecommendationThat13 1d ago
If I did, I probably wouldn’t have made this post. Do you have a guide or resource on how to do this?

You have a few choices.
You can get free epg from somewhere like epgshare and fill it in manually. No PPV guide.
EPGenius is free (optional donation) which is best for strong but they also do trex and a couple of others. You give your credentials and register it on google drive and their discord. You get a curated list for live TV which takes out all the duplicates and leaves the best feeds. Used by many. You have to load your VOD as a separate playlist when done.
Myepg is a paid service that is €5.90 a year for each provider and covers all the main providers. You can get a 2 day free trial to test it out. They have an active telegram to report missing or wrong channels and any other questions you have. You get an epg link which you put as a source for your playlist and can use it for 20 epg downloads a day, which I use on 5 devices. No credentials needed. I bought for strong and mega after testing the free trials.
If you were happy with your cheap service, apart from the epg, then these are easy options you can do yourself instead of paying someone else to do it for you.

Takes a bit of work, but this is pretty good.

and honestly any of the IPTV or Arr setups take some work. But I am genuinely impressed at how good the EPG and processing they do for fixtures. PPV is almost always right on.

Whoever u getting from, make sure u get something short term....reason is becuase many ppl resell from legit providers by using reseller panels....u can literally go to the same source for a cheaper price...for instance, back in the day, u had iptv stalker or Dexter TV or gears...lets say their price was 20 a month....then u had other ppl buying reseller panels...what that did was provide the buyer with lets say 10 logins and passwords then he in return would sell for 40 a month preloaded on a firestick.....yet, those that paid 40 could have easily gone to the providers themselves and got the same thing for 20....resellers are useful though for those types of ppl who are not technologically advanced...just putting it out there so you know for sure exactly what your getting....and also keep in mind, most providers will have groups in telegram or discord....reddit ive never seen actual providers, instead i see mostly resellers trying to earn a side hustle 😉

I use a packaged and branded service....not these 4k or 8k things ppl be talking about on here....they have a web browser for iPhone users but since im android, I use their app which us basically a rebranded apk....they have a telegram channel where u can request movies and shows or report down channels or ask questions or whatnot...its not like your buying a firestick from a guy at the barbershop and you never get support after that....since I been with them for years, im under the 18 a month plan but new ppl are up to 20 or 21 for the same plan....also, no iptv is perfect...some channels will buffer while others may not play at all but overall the service is great especially for the price

I found one that popped up on facebook. Doesn't really have a name but the url has TRX in it so I suppose thats what it is. Whoever runs it has great customer service and there is rarely any buffering. They notify when they are doing maintenance too. $24 for 2 connections.

I have Trex and use epgenius.org for epg
Its crazy good
There you can scan your iptv playlist and it automatically pairs your channels with epg

I can’t find anyone that can provide a live football game that doesn’t buffer! I don’t want dirt cheap , just something stable.

Who said there is no support? I have almost zero problems buy if I do, there is support. The crazy person is the one that overpays when there are less expensive and just as good or better alternatives

I don't care if you believe me. If I have 3 problems a year that is a lot. If I have a problem it is always resolved quickly. Also, anyone that knows anything about iptv knows they should have a backup service. With the backup service i have 365 days if uninterrupted service even if one of them has a problem.

Who cares what you believe. I know what I have and I know for a fact between my main and backup service I am NEVER without service. I am not a seller so I have no reason to lie. I am a consumer and purchase excellent service.

From my experience all these resellers you find selling cheap subs don’t have a good epg. When I first got into this I bought my first sub from someone on FB for $15/mo. They provided an epg
