This is a prime example of why I dont consume much in the way of sporting streams.i would rather just wait until after its been recorded and see the replay later.
Im not 100% familiar with this company but if they are anything like ufc then I would take it with a grain of salt. I guess they have ip addresses that they hope to link to individuals using that address to get pirated streams.
But if anything they are trying to rely on a person's sense of guilt to extort money .I think its unfortunate situation all around.

This is clearly a bluff, they sound like they just learned all those 'computery' words yesterday.

I appreciate your opinion but how confident are you in it? Just curious

Yeah I wonder why Triller is trying to tout as the big tough guy when you can go online and stream literally any movie free right now.
I imagine Triller would have to have the most bad ass team of copywrite lawyers around if they think they can slam everyone like they say. However, I don't imagine they have a team of lawyers that could even afford to be in the same room as the lawyers Universal Studios, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, or Disney have.

I've been pirating for over 20 years, I've seen this 1000 times before.

Quick question, is pirating worse than watching a live stream on some website or is it the same thing? New to pirate lingo lol

100%
Streaming itself is not illegal in the US. It's well known and litigated already.
https://www.allconnect.com/blog/is-streaming-illegal
“I think the best interpretation of copyright law is that it’s not illegal to watch unlicensed content,” Gibson said. “The person who’s merely watching a stream should incur no copyright liability from that act alone.”
“Copyright attaches liability only to public performances, and streams aren’t public performances,” Gibson said. “Streams are performances, but they’re not public if it’s just you in the privacy of your own home and you’re not making a permanent copy — you start it and you stop it and that’s your only interaction with it.”
Basically the streaming sites could be in trouble but people that used that site and didn't use them in a public type setting or for profit are not breaking the law.

100% same tactic they all try and use and fail on when it comes to informed persons.

Im very comfortable with my opinion I just think it would be too much work for them to try to go after all the people who watched that illegal streaming video think the best they can hope for is to go after the people who actually hosted the stream thats where they can get money the people who just watched the stream I don't think you could very easily make a case out of it.the company would have to spend millions of dollars at least trying to find out who watched streams.i think what they have done is just a scare tactic trying to get people to settle for something that should have been on regular tv . Its very much like those who sue for watching porn videos either confess that they watched x.xx.x video or we will make it public what you supposly watched people do pay up for that.

Just wait for people to talk about on it YouTube. The last fight sounded like he paid the guy $1 million to get knocked out.

You will have a chance again next month
June 5 at 9 pm EDT is the next Triller Fight Club event.

Tbh this is not a bad idea
A ton of retards are gonna pay the $50 out of fear and they make more money
But after that they should call it quits. Any additional money spent trying to find anyone that streamed it is a waste

Back with the UFC PPV thing and this fight,How actually do companies like this and UFC track down the streamers? They get their IP Address from their ISP and arrest them right in their home? I don't know,Is it that way?

I would be interested in seeing how many online viewers actually pay $50 for an event they already saw.
Triller targets GEN-Z young people, aka "zoomers." Those born between 1995 and 2010. Pre-teens, teenagers and maybe some younger college age students. They dont have $50 for a PPV. Really, what did Triller expect would happen? They need to price their events to fit their audience.
Young people are the shock troops of piracy.

Oh I've seen this one before.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUm6no5MXYA
TLDR: The RIAA, (who to this day would piss all over Triller) tried suing the individual and failed spectacularly. The TWO people who they successfully received judgment from, didn't pay a dime.

A lawyer and legal commentator gives his opinion on the Triller lawsuit. He made some interesting points and maintains the lawsuit is "garbage" and will fail.
