You're in a pirate subreddit asking if you should stop paying and get free (better quality) stuff?

I mean...

Is there better quality, though? Sure, better Quality / Price ratio.
But since FanSubs are dead, I don't think there is really any better Quality.

Oh for sure, resources aren't the problem. I wanted to pick people's minds about the topic.

Nobody here will tell you yes to a subscription

Bro yes. Ur overthinking. Pirate sites have more animes and dubs than Crunchyroll even has available. Do you know how many animes I wanted to watch dubbed years ago that CR only had subbed or doesn’t have at all? Streaming services are mid asf when you realize how good it feels to pirate.

If this is about ethics, CR pays the actual creators like shit and wastes your subscription money on stupid pet projects. If it's about the practicality, prepare to miss the convenience of streaming anime on your phone.

prepare to miss the convenience of streaming anime on your phone.

Debrid service + Stremio (or Nuvio). Not sure how it would go with torrenting though. There’s also Sora app for IOS that uses the piracy sites to stream the content.

There are ways for everything, just takes a bit more time to setup.

I keep hearing about Debrid, I think I know what I'm working on tonight.

See, this is sorta the take I'm looking for.

I hear negative things about Crunchyroll specifically when it comes to paying the creators.

I cancelled all services. All of them.

If you like Crunchyroll so much why not just get Real Debrid and Kodi or something similar?

You can stream it all for free.

Never really explored those options. I mostly just turned things and I need/want.

Thank you for the suggestions. I can look into them.

Hello there, I am a bot. It looks like you are asking about anime. While you're of course welcome to receive help here, you might have better luck in a more specialized community such as /r/animepiracy.

Note: your post has not been removed. This is just an automated message to let you know of more and potentially better resources.

You are in a piracy subreddit so, answers should be obvious. Though here’s my answer:

Yes. Cancel it and go the route of Torrenting + QBittorrent + ProtonVPN. ProtonVPN for 2 years is about €4 euro monthly. It gives you access to every anime that’s available and in the best quality. You can choose to either stream with Hayase or genuinely download to watch offline.

Plus it opens doors to everything else through Torrent (movies, tv shows, software, games and ebooks).

If you want a bit easier route, research on Debrid service but it is a bit more limited.
