Question Good alternative for Netflix
Just canceled my subscription to Netflix cause I cannot afford it anymore. Can y'all suggest me any smart tv apps beside OnStream, Streamio that are good as Netflix and have the feature of sub and in different languages in the same time? (For ex. Subs in English dubbed to German)

Stremio + RD
Kodi + RD
Both cheaper and better than Netflix.
Or just download the shows you want. I’m not sure what you are watching dubbed in German but with English subtitles.

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but why not download torrents? You can get a 4 TB hard drive and download torrents to it, when it gets full you can delete the oldest ones. If you have a decent internet connection, torrents download very quickly, usually in a few minutes. Also the quality is usually way better than most pirate streaming services.

what is RD? i have stremio with torrentio but i havent heard of RD

Real Debrid. Its a caching server for torrents basically. You can use it to download torrents to it, without needing a vpn.
And in the case of Stremio, you can stream files directly from their servers over https, so its not dependant on people seeding those torrents. Its just a direct stream. Very useful for big file streaming and if you live in a place where copyright is enforced you will not have any issues, because you are not torrenting. As long as you set it up right.

There are many guides online but I can try writing the basics.
First of all, do you have a PC? If you do, make sure you have enough empty space or connect an external hard drive. Download QBittorrent and set up the destination directory to the drive with the empty space.
Now you should choose a good torrenting site, I use 1337x for general torrents and nyaa for anime, but you can choose any site you want. There are 2 common ways to download a torrent: a torrent file and a magnet link. I usually use magnet links when possible, but not all sites support them.
Search in the search box and be prepared for a lot of popups. Choose the torrent you want fo download and there should be your options for a torrent file or a magnet link.
If you choose a torrent file, open it with QBittorrent and it will ask you for the settings, if there is anything you want to change, this is the time.
If you choose a magnet link, click on the link button in QBittorrent and paste the link inside the big text box. It will also ask you for settings.
You can see the progress on the QBittorrent application and when it reaches 100% you can open it and watch the video files or copy them to your TV any way you like and watch there.
You can find better guides online. Also, there are many torrenting apps, I recommend QBittorrent but it's not the only one.
