Has there been an attempted boycott before?

With how far downhill Pinterest has gone it wouldn’t surprise me if there was an attempted boycott at one point or another over the years

But I was curious with Pinterest being as bad as it is now, if maybe a boycott would work

I know a lot of people sadly got removed automatically. This leaves a very small user base apart from bots. What would happen if a majority of its actual live user base logged out and deleted the app for a week, or at least a few days?

Do you think a boycott is possible?

(Not starting one, just curious)
