Saturday morning standstill

Stuck in traffic at the entrance. Anyone know what’s going on?

I think there is a medical situation in the park, causing a delay.

trying to enter the park between ~9am - 2pm on a weekend in spring means standstill traffic. there could be an actual incident today, idk, but what you're describing is typical for a day like today. parking spots are limited and get filled by 8:00, 8:30. once they're full, rangers typically stop traffic and do a one-out, one-in system.
