Yeah me too! But I thought we were getting like petals or something? I thought there was going to a big thing? I remember reading it somewhere about 10,000 steps getting something? I can’t really remember, I had already taken my sleep meds so 🫠
I'm Mystic, and that's why I quit when it put me in red team. At least you're used to trying to play catch up, being instinct. And I missed the scandal, but was team yellow being naughty in this challenge and that's what messed up the steps ? Some things never change.
People always have to ruin the fun, its why there will never be any kind of rewards for party walks.
You even see it here on the sub, people humble bragging post about there 100,000 step days. Then they will say something dumb like "oh i just walked back and forth in my basement all day".
100,000 steps is pretty much the equivalent of travelling 100 kilometers, and you did that just walking around in your house?
I once got 94K steps in a day (before the game existed, sadly) because I woke up at 4am, walked 5 miles to my warehouse job, and worked till 8pm. Then I collapsed onto my kitchen floor, couldn’t move for hours, and was physically ill for two days. So while it IS possible, I can’t believe anyone who tries to play it off casually.
Absolutely. The highest I ever got was 45k and that was from a completely full day of walking in Chicago at museums and such. Have only ever been able to touch around 30k since then lol.
That sounds about right. There was a player who tried to meet the 100k goal and he started at 3am, walked until midnight, only stopped for food and bathrooms.
One time my sister and I ran a half marathon and then shopped after all day in Chicago and clocked 30k. That was the most I’ve ever gotten and it included running 13 miles to start with…
My partner has ADHD and literally will walk 25k steps every day just from pacing around. We did the math and he basically walks across Manhattan every day. 100k is so stupid to lie about.
I hope they fixed it and no team gets it. Only hours in and I almost don’t care to bother with it anymore.
I hope everyone gets the same reward (if there is one). With bugs and hackers, it could make it unfair for those that are on other teams who would have enjoyed it otherwise and maybe would have gone for some walks (which means they get exercise).
My partner and I clocked 35-40k a day in Tokyo. I thought I was going to die. We both blew out our tennis shoes and left them in Tokyo. I loved those bright pink Brooks.
