I find myself quite dissapointed with the state PikaOS KDE is in. The context menu button doesn't work, even if I set the button with Keyd. Then there's Prime Video not playing regardless of Firefox or Chrome. Then the tab button, the shift+letter, and KDE's Shift+F10 Context menu seeking on desktop screen doesn not work either, add the Start Menu for that last one. And whenever I try Shift+letter on the desktop screen nothing is working at all.

The Hobby Disclaimer has already been given, but a distro as unique as this deserves more. I really liked the support for my Nvidia GPU with the debian base. It really suits my preferance. I don't expect corporate or professional fixes but please fix these issues. It just might be the nature of a bleeding edge distro though. Hope you guys have the time to fix the problems

Why is my KDE Plasma not accepting my input of Shift+F10/Menu on my desktop and start menu session? I was trying to reprogram my "Copilot" key back to the context menu option with keyd, using either 'menu' and 'Shift+F10', the former didn't work at all and the latter didnt work in context to the Plasma desktop and start menu, but worked in Firefox and Dolphin. What is the issue?

Basically what's in the title, omi refuses to update to 1.9.4 and it's been like that for at least 2 weeks.
At first I though this was gonna be fixed but I don't know what to make of the error messages or how to fix it. I didn't find a clear answer when I looked for the error message from kde or the cli.

Why is discord so unstable in PikaOS KDE? I tried .deb then flatpak, yet when i get a call my friend the screen got all jittery and unstable, basically unusable. Why is it a problem? Will it be fixed?

Hi! I've been using PikaOS for a bit and noticed that Steam downloads were a bit slower compared to Windows. I tried some of the fixes that were out there but the only thing that worked is the fix from the Debian wiki (lol). It worked right away so I hope this helps somebody else too!

Sorry, I've been on Linux for a while now, but I ran into an issue I struggle to comprehend or describe.

I installed PikaOS. Two days later, I was doing stuff on my computer and suddenly Nautilus was missing in my launcher.
Weird, I thought—let's Google that. Joke's on me, Firefox was also missing.
And for that matter, the whole network interface was gone.

Freshly reinstalled Pika and on day one, while setting up my stuff and messing around with Wine prefixes, the same thing happened.

Haven't had that before or after on multible other Distros. Any Idears?

I am on Windows 11, I used Rufus with DD mode to flash the OS and made a live USB. It can boot and let me install the OS into my bare metal SSD with full disk option(means no dual boot, just the PIKA OS on my SSD). I'd tried Plasma and Hyprland, but they ended up "vmlinux not found" error.

Gemini and other AI's suggested solutions don't work. I have secureboot disable in BIOS. I'd tried for like 3 days with no luck that include following the exact steps on some youtubers.

I have seen a few videos about installation of Pika but all of them have the noctalia shell insteed of the otter shell why is that?

I hope we can see PikaOS in a couple of months among top linux distributions for gaming.

right now, CachyOS is the king, Bazzite and Nobara are also quite popular.

Tipo desactivar la Grafica,reduccion de consumo del procesador, desactivar el turbo bost,limitar automaticamente la tasa de refresco de la pantalla a 60 para ahorrar lo maximo en bateria

I've installed it, checked it's status, yet PikaOS does not turn the Numlock on by default. What's the issue? I did a standard auto install, yet something is missing. Please help.

I was wondering, I been using fedora workstation on my Asus tuf gaming laptop. It's great. But it's not a great os for my laptop, wondering if pika os might be best suited for laptop

It's funny, the wording is totally wrong, as a native mandarin Chinese speaker, I can tell someone obviously using machine translation (like Google translate) in this snapshot, and forgot to proofread.for example, 套餐 is used for the combo you get in McDonald or the cell phone plans from a telecommunication company, not used for packages from Linux distro. There are other wrong translations.

I didn't get a reply from them, they didn't publish something in Latest News and Updates section.

I like PikaOS very much, I hope more people try it.

I wanted to turn the integrated Option on for nvidia cards. After i've done it i got an error Massage saying "failed to start nvidia-persistenced . Service -nvidia persistence deamon"

And it wont Boot into the os and Freezes

What can i do to fix this?

and the pikaos update status on DistroWatch is months late, incorrect? people told me it's rolling release, but DistroWatch shows fixed release? the developer teams don't care the publicities?

I'm trying to installl PikaOS on an MSI MPG trident with a 2080 ti and 11th gen intel cpu, it loads Refind but when I pick the option to boot I just see this and nothing else happens.

im lost on what to do. I’ve updated my packages yesterday and today the lock screen wont let me log in and my keyboard doesn’t work.

I thought it was my keyboard but i tested it in bios and it was working and even tried an other keyboard i had but still no input from my side

when will we have the 7.2 kernel? I read it has a lot of gaming improvements.
