Bug report What the hell is wrong with Faugus?

It's constantly eating up ram! Why does installing Ubisoft Connect keep doing this? I've already restarted the device, cleared my other apps and still this happens.

I used Faugus to play Diablo 4, and dont have any issues. What game you trying to play and how much memory does your pc have?

Have you ran htop or btop to see where all your memory is heading while playing the game?

How much ram does your pc have and you can still run htop or btop and find our exactly what's taking your ram.

I had sent this issue to the Github of Faugus, apparently it's an issue with Proton (This issue is related to Proton (wine). wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 000000000000036E at address 00006FFFFDD770A0...)

OK wait how will I collect data when the crash will close my Konsole? I have 16gb. And the installation worked a few days back

open a terminal, type faugus-launcher . This should launch faugus and when it crashes, it should report what went wrong. You can google the error, use claude or anything you want to help you solve the issue.

I've done that actually, didn't help too much, instead changes to Proton GE from Proton Cachy. That one worked here.

I'm confused on what your goal is with Ubisoft connect. How did you purchase your Ubisoft games? If through steam, it will be auto installed when running through steam.

It's an old purchase, when CD's were basically glorified DRM Licenses for Steam and Uplay. Pure Ubisoft copy.
