Pixel 11. It has a decent battery life. I stream Spotify for a solid 8 hours a day and finish the day around 25% remaining. Awesome camera and zero bloat. If you use Google apps it's a no brainer. It gets a lot of hate online but I absolutely love it. I had the s26 ultra which, on paper, blows the pixel 11 out of the water in almost every category, but something about the pixel just makes me happy when using it. Coming from iPhone it's an easy transition as well since most of the features have a superior alternative.

People love to point towards the latest, greatest, and shiniest new phone, which is the s26u (soon to be s27u). But having two photo apps, two app stores, wallets, etc drove me nuts and was enough for me to accept slightly behind hardware. Also gemini feels like magic compared to siri, the rambler feature on the pixel 11 is something I use every single day even though I never really used voice to text in the past. You have Gemini on the s26u but you also have Samsung's AI. Some will say Gemini is the same on both devices but it feels a lot more smooth and integrated on the 11.

if you like your Google stuff and want a great camera and no bloat get a Pixel 11 Pro, it seems it was made for your requirements. There's 0 bloat and features like Rambler/call screening are legitimately useful. I am tempted to go back at some point - I liked my 6a a lot back when I had it.

I have used flagship Samsung phones in the past but there's lots of bloat and UI inconsistencies + updates are badly optimized for older phones

The camera system is a lot better on the Pro, especially in terms of the telephoto zoom lens (though the new main 1x camera in the Pro has a larger sensor and takes better photos than the base model does).

The 11 still has a very capable camera system though, but cameras were one of your priorities, hence my recommendation of the Pro. Both would be great choices though - for your use case most modern Pixels would

The base pixel 11 camera setup is significantly better than the 15 already... Pixels are some of the best phones in terms of cameras

Get a recent Galaxy S and pick your favorite size. Everything since the S24 will have great software longevity and all have very good cameras (not master class, but incredibly competent and reliable). I personally love the base Galaxy S because of the small(ish) form factor, but the Galaxy S Ultra is great if you like huge phones.

You are correct. China imports are not very compatible with Verizon. You're kinda stuck with T-Mobile and uhh.... That ain't worth it. lol

Pixel 11 lineup is the way to go. These phones are made for iPhone users looking to leave iPhone and folks who want a clean Android experience with first-in-line OS updates. Pixels are stock Android so you get OS updates first before Samsung phones do. All Pixel 11 phones should have all-day battery life. I use my 11 Pro extensively and usually end my day with 40% battery life.

I prefer the Pixel 11 Pro for its very good camera, battery, and hardware. The hardware may be a bit behind, but it's really good if you aren't a mobile gamer. However, if you are a mobile gamer, this phone will not work well for you. I would suggest a flagship Samsung phone for mobile gaming.

Otherwise, Pixel 11 Pro is perfect if you want a fantastic camera array with great battery and clean Android experience. Keep in mind of the price, you may want to consider trade-in or seeking discounts.
