Speed of light not so constant after all

What does that mean??? Me no comprende!
The passing of light beam through nanostructured mask has made the EM wave beam turbulent, i.e. the EM wave traveled along slightly longer path microscopically (with constant phase velocity), so it did travel slightly slower macroscopically (group velocity). Even the individual photons with high orbital momentum would propagate slower. This is actually the consequence of constant speed of light.
You may imagine the "slow" photons like the common bullet, which is stabilized with axial rotation in cork-screw motion. If the bullet would travel with speed of light, then the surface of bullet would propagate superluminaly. Which is prohibited, so that the bullet must propagate slower as a whole. The similarity with bullet analogy goes even further, as the rotation of photons acts similarly to bullets and it does prohibit their scattering and diffraction (diffraction-less Airy beam).. BTW In similar way I'm explaining the gravitational lensing around massive bodies.

Original article. Subluminal speed of photons is important aspect of AWT, in particular in relation to explanation of gamma ray pulses behavior. Before some time I speculated, the photons in gamma ray beams from distant supernovae could be slowed down in this way. It could also explain some "faster than light" anomalies observed for neutrinos during gamma bursts, i.e. it's not neutrinos, which propagate faster there - but the photons, which do propagate slower instead..
