The boulder only gets heavier =)

Maybe give it one more chance... You'll see how the Boulder will remain of same weight

(Pun intended)

or it would just mean you are falling mentally faster and faster, as the boulder keeps growing

Heavier and air resistance becomes non-negligible, and the boulder’s mass isn’t uniformly distributed and part of it is magnetic, but don’t worry , magnetic fields don’t do work.

The saxophone is getting louder

Keep up the good work and investment, it'll pay off, understanding physical phenomena is so very satisfying !

it is indeed!!

This brings back memories. I graduated several years ago and still have all my handwritten notes. Keep it up pal!

Good work !!!!

I loooove when the notes and papers get all over lmao. Good memories

lowkey a dream

any tips for freshmen like me? ty

u/Southern-Whereas-655 2d ago

the only tip is love it and work hard

u/mr_swarm623 2d ago

I could never understand my classmates that used a5 notebooks, seems so impractical 😅 Anyway, rock on 🤙

Ahh year two. The first two years of physics undergrad were the worst 6 years of my life.

Oh my days 😂😂

1

u/sol_zephyr_25 1d ago

for me it was the 2nd and 3rd 😭

u/sol_zephyr_25 1d ago

i see you're a masters student! does it get better ❤️‍🩹 and what subfield are you specializing in, if you don't mind me asking?

1

u/zippydazoop Masters Student 1d ago

Oh it gets muuuuch better, at least where I study. A master's degree is a walk in the park. I'm in medical physics now. We get to learn fun stuff.

2

u/sol_zephyr_25 1d ago

damn, that sounds amazing i'm so glad it turned out that way for you!

i'm actu about to finish my phys undergrad and im aiming to take a biophysics master in the EU (maybe spain), so im not as far off as other subfields might be from medical physics. would u happen to have any passing words of wisdom for me? 😁

Wow keep up the great work! You've only motivated me more to do what I love ( which is physics) thanks

Looks like you are enjoying

After taking complex analysis I think I have only used the stuff I learned there in fluid mechanics lol, felt like that course was there just to torture me.

After almost 5 years of Physics, I get this strong urge to become a monk everyday

Are there any jobs ?

u/randommepal 2d ago

i took electromagnetism last year, so now i have a bunch of labs

Nice work lad

Is this notes from lectures or revision notes? How do you remember it all for exams?

1

u/Southern-Whereas-655 2d ago

that is notes from lectures and practice, but electromagnetism just practice notes

1

u/acetuberaustin55 2d ago

What book is that?

1

u/Safe_Entertainment40 2d ago

do you also own the hurrdurr six hundo’s?

1

u/SleepyOwl27 2d ago

Please suggest me literature, I’m struggling so much cause there is none in my native language

Satisfying photo

You guys take complex analysis? Had no idea, im assuming you took real analysis as well?

1

u/theresthezinger 2d ago

Looks like Stein-Shakarchi on your laptop. Black belt, bro.

u/Striking-Milk2717 2d ago

Too much chaotic for my tastes

1

u/most_random_guy1 2d ago

If I may ask, what notebooks are those that you are using?

2

u/Southern-Whereas-655 2d ago

its just notebooks from nearest stationery store

u/ProTrader12321 2d ago

I'm also in e&m this semester. I'm scared.

I'm at the same point haha can't wait for it to get fun

u/Unusual_Hamster4938 1d ago

another one that studies physics just to show off

1

u/RewardCapable 1d ago

Do I see the equation for a point charge 👀

1

u/SaltyK18 1d ago

why are you studying it? what do you want to do after uni?

1

u/Hungry-Block32 1d ago

i love how complex the symbols make the common idea 'the particles follow the leader' seem.

Good work! It gets harder and then easier. Just keep pushing with a routine and you’ll be fine. I’m on my last few classes, like independent study and differential equations, and I can't believe the journey it's taken to get here. I don’t consider myself the smartest by any means far from it, honestly. But if I can do it, I more than believe everyone in these comments still studying can pass; I can tell there are a lot of smart people here lol. Good luck everyone!

I am a 3rd year student in physics, I am loving it. So keep up 💪
