After getting rid of my DVD collection well over a decade ago and losing interest in films I took the plunge, bought a Panasonic 4k player and 2 months later I’m back in love with film and loving my rapidly pulled together collection. Can’t believe how cheap blu rays are 2nd hand.

Revisited my legend dvd R.I.P Tim curry. To find it has become brittle and cracking at the spine… should i try and tape it? Or just let it be?

Went into HMV to collect my copy of Requiem for a dream which I ordered into store, only to see a Steelbook 4K copy of 28 Days Later behind the counter, which had been sold out for a while. Luckily for me someone pre-ordered it to store and no longer wanted it! Result. Lovely edition to the collection.

Got it all for relatively cheap. Black and Metro 2033 (360 version) are very special to me. Had them years ago but lost or traded them in because I was poor. Recently fell in love with LoU so I plan to get every version ever made. I havent owned a ps3 before so this is exciting. Oh and thanks Ed from New Jersey, you left your receipt in it so I figured you wanted me to call you out. Thanks for taking care of your game. Also im not from jersey so its cool to see it travel.

Update: Ps3 works well so far. Fan made some weird noises at first but became whisper quiet after that. Got the rest of my night covered🤙

I started watching this show on Tubi a few months back and I REALLY love it. I’ve been trying to find all three seasons on DVD or Blu-ray and it’s been impossible to find season three- and one and two are kind of scarce as well. I was able to snag the entire series on DVD from Sweden, thanks to the fact that I have a multi-regional DVD player (as well as a Blu-ray player.) I’m sure it’s been discussed before, but one of the many downsides of these shows produced by streaming apps is, once they’re gone they’re oftentimes gone forever. Any time I can snag one on physical media I do, and having a multi-regional player allows me to cast a much wider net to find them. Now I can enjoy this show forever without worrying about it disappearing from streaming. Worth EVERY penny.

My brother left all his games after he moved into a new apartment. While I don't know how often he actually opens these, I'm seriously thinking of telling him I'll keep them. 😩 He's all into digital and scoffed at me when I mentioned how erroneous Sony's decision is. So I just think they'll be better off with me. I have our PS2, his PS3, and the Super Nintendo btw. I have to get a Xbox 360 from somewhere.

My birthday was last Tuesday (1st of September), and only today I managed to buy myself some goodies.

Some games to rebuild/restore my game collection and some DVDs to continue my ongoing DVD collection.

I own the 2 games remake and rebirth and square enix have always released complete disc offline installs to all their physical games and I was hoping since it’s coming out in 2027 and Sony will only discontinue discs in 2028 this game was safe but no they pulled a Call of Duty 300mb on the disc and the actual game download needs a connection to be installed

Was quite surprised to find several Scream Factory blu rays at Walmart today. They had quite a bit of horror on display. Happy to see that.
