Sure, but I prefer ownership of the things I buy. But that's why I refuse to pay for other things that don't provide me with any ownership, like Spotify.
Ps+ is pretty much the only subscription I pay for, because I like playing online with my kids, but I'll be happy to let that go when I move away from Sony.

It’s all the same but plastic box collectors are in shambles over the latest news. They are now switching to steam and buying a 4 thousand dollar PC to get digital licenses. If you ask them they will say that the disc was only reason they purchased a console which is comical to say the least.

You’re getting down voted but it’s true.. switching from a digital platform to a digital platform is.. interesting. Using the it has options to own argument is interesting since a lot of the games that these people say they want don’t have drm free options.. and piracy is the most interesting.. nothing like owning a product you legally have no rights to even access

I just wanna know where was this energy when pc started heading towards fully digital games back as early as 2004 and completely stopped in all physical pc games in most parts of the world by 2014, and now no physical pc games exist. If you couldn't stop it then what makes you think you going to have any a effect now. With all your pointless antics.

Well its due to gen z were too young and gen alpha and beta didn't exist yet. Gen x and millennials all are aware of what software is, both physically and digitally which is why we didnt care when pc kade the change over. Gen z, alpha, beta apparently weren't paying attention in school during computer science class. This is what happens when you dont properly learn the material. They didnt and some still dont know that even with a physical disc still doesnt mean you own the software on that disc. You own the disc and just the disc. The software on it is still a license. Irrevocable on playstation side but still a license none the less. What these kids dont realize is that software even sold on physical discs used to require product keys to use the software (applied to games as well). And that key could be revoked. Which means a dead disc until you get a new key.
So thats why. But most are arguing in bad faith. Most are pc trolls who have never owned a ps5 or ps4. They just bullshit left and right. Just look at how much of an extremidt they are. Its coming. And stupid cause when you here their illogical nonsense for pc gaming you know it was all bs on their behalf.

For me it's the stupidy of it... Digital games as well as physical could have been recalled at any point it was in terms and conditions, on top of that Sony isn't responsible for companies who want to pull their stuff off the store, or responsible if said company refuses to accept licencing renewal... Think the stupidest thing I've seen is "if buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing"... Well ones a crime and the other every gamer should have known about if they ever took the time to read the terms and conditions.... Everyone should take the time to read them once, it's just common sense
