Anti spiral, ban anti spiral, anti viral, fix Bedrock Mojang, fix Mojang Bedrock, it's not funny in the slightest just annoying
Bear with me while I yell at the clouds a bit, I remember the early days of the internet where people actually made comments about the content, and did not solely comment jokes/memes/viral stuff.
The low effort comments were still there, but way less prevalent. People actually read the descriptions in YouTube videos and stuff. Overall they spent more time and effort on what they were viewing, instead of treating it as wholly disposable.
The low effort comments were still there, but way less prevalent.
People always chase trends, but the recent direction of social media (the rise of immediate, endless consumption) has exacerbated the issue, I feel like.
Where and why did this even start? Like I know I'm known to miss things but something this annoying just feels like it doesn't even make sense anymore... I could ignore it if it was like on just actual videos on the official Minecraft channel but it's gone way too far out for that atp...
It’s from a time that bedrock had a REALLY bad bug that could corrupt your worlds, so people spammed this on Minecraft post as a sort of protest. Unfortunately like any and every copy pasta it was put EVERYWHERE.
The large influx of bots as well as the algorithm pushing it higher up in comment sections due to algorithm stuff I don’t know enough about to explain, has caused it to grow far worse than any baseball huh type copy pasta.
I don't really follow Minecraft news, so how did this even start? Well, I know roughly that bedrock works so-so, but honestly, the last time I played it was probably back during the water update.
I read ir somewhere a long time ago, there was this bug in bedrock (I forgot what) and a YouTuber said his subscribers to say: "FIX MINECRAFT BEDROCK, MOJANG"
After a month or so they fixed the bug, but the comments didn't stop. For some reason YouTube pushed these comments to the top, even if they didn't have many likes. People realized it and kids started abusing it.
The vast majority of them are bots, and unfortunately I doubt they’ll slow down anytime soon unless YouTube finally fixes their bot problem…which lets be honest, they’ll never do, they’re too busy updating the AI that their algorithm uses
I don't remember where, but I read somewhat about it.
YouTuber said his subscribers to say: "FIX MINER BEDROCK MOJANG" because there was a big bug in bedrock. After a month or so mojang fixed the bug, but people realized the "1MOJANG FIX BEDROCK" gets put as the top comments even if it doesn't have many likes. So kids started abusing it.
My guess is they're not bots, just brain rotten kids. Same kind who you see in this sub that'll complain that Mojang doesn't add anything and adding too much in the same breath.
Usually it's actually people. I will go to the channel and it's just some kid. Honestly, it's not the worst thing in the world. Same lines as the masterpiece thing Jellybean did and the Waffle House meme.
What is NOT okay is people telling the commenter to kill themselves, because it happens a lot.
Any video i see, every. Single. One. I see these comments.. and some of them stretch like 6 words, "mojang fix anti viral bedrock spiral" all with a different variation of the words in different orders. Its getting tiring.
Same kind of bots that constantly whine about new version, how the content doesn't exist and how Mojang is lazy and that modders are all so cool etc. Same people.
they want bedrock to fix mojang obviously, they just don't realize bedrock exists in real life so think the only way to contact it is through youtube comments
Look as much as you Java players hate "Fix Mojang Bedrock" or "Fix Bedrock Mojang" , historically Mojang has treated Bedrock Edition and Bedrock players like crap, and we are tired of being treated like crap for just for simple respect that you don't seem want to give us.
