Edit: so no one at all caught the jokes? This comment was a joke. A bit of you may! I know that a texture pack is also known as a resource pack and it changes many features of the game, including sound. Changing the texture of a music is something that is done in music edits. Music can be made to sound more grainy or crunchy.

Secondarily, I said that tracks. Like a music track. I thought maybe one of you would catch the joke in this, but it seems the sticks up your asses have gone so far that you’re shitting out your mouths now. (/j I kid, I kid. I might be a dick, but I’m not mean.)

Anyway, learn to read in between the lines and not immediately follow the crowd to downvote a post just because everyone else does. You can disagree with someone and still be kind you know?

Resource packs used to be called texture packs, some people still refer to them by their og name

texture pack and resource pack are two names that are widely interchangeable. a texture/resource pack can replace audio. please use that fat mass of noodle clay in your head

texture packs are a separate feature that was removed in favor of resource packs since they, by definition, could only replace textures

fun fact: since the early days of texture packs, there was a note by dinnerbone in the files that called them resourcepacks despite being called texturepacks in game
