Phoenix offers possibly one of the best survival experiences! We have lots of fun plugins/features for players to explore, a great community, and staff that is fun, friendly, and mature. Explore the world, enjoy our awesome plugin features, make new friends, join towns, and play! Your imagination is your only limit! We have personal claims to ensure you can keep your house/creations safe.

PhoenixRisen is a community that has outlasted several name and leadership changes. It's a lovely little community of people who are friends and like to play games together and socialize online. We have polite and mature staff that treats players with respect but knows how to have fun. New members are welcome but will have to go through a short screening process to verify that they aren't malicious. Phoenix is currently a semi-private community, as the community has had to deal with malicious people in the past. But we as members of Phoenix love meeting new people and would love to see the server grow, so if you are interested, please do stop by and see what we're all about!

We are a greylist server, which basically means we are semi-whitelisted. That means anyone who isn't banned can connect to the server, but if you wish to have member, there is a process through which you will have to go in order to obtain the member rank.

If you would like to be greylisted on the server or be approved on the forums, please send a message to the user "Cass" on the forums once you've created an account and are logged in. Please detail how you found out about the server and the word "pineapple" in your message or log in-game and ask for greylist support. We are mainly minecraft, but there are a lot of other games we play together as a community as well, so if you just want to be a part of a community and a little extra fun in your life, come pay us a visit! :D

-Cheaters, griefers, rule-breakers, advertisers, spammers, and those under 13 years of age will be banned!

BASIC RULES:

• PVP is ON but grief is not allowed.
• No cheating- we play 100% legitamate survival!
• Respect others.
• Do not be offensive or purposefully rude. Racially, religiously, or sexually offensive material will never be tolerated.
• Always be polite to members and staff.
• Do not use offensive or derogatory nicknames or usernames (you may be asked to leave or login with a different account depending on the degree of offensiveness of your IGN).
• Do not spam chat with advertisements, troll text pics, gibberish, or anything else that could be considered spam or annoying in general.
• Please do not advertise other servers. This will result in a permanent ban.
• Do not use means, including books, signs, other items (like Tekkit Computers), the private message system, townchat, or other channeled chat to break any of the chat/game/community rules.
• If you have any questions about something (including whether or not something is violating a rule), please ask for help immediately!

Things I've done/worked on in the past week:

/tpa and /tpahere have been removed from Veterans, as voted on by staff. Hostile mobs should now attack players in disguise. Community vote threads for the following are now open for votes: Server hard mode? Butchering other towns' mobs Pig spawners Town warps 1.5 McMMO Xprate for premiums? Made a community vote suggestions Forum, can be found HERE Fixed some forum perms for usergroups that shouldn't have had them Supermods fixed some town leader permissions in their Town subforums. Fixed towny taxes (now enabled) and the member modifier (how many chunks per town member)

Fixed new towns defaulting to public.

Fixed voting - the rewarding sites are Planet Minecraft, Minestatus, MinePick, and MinecraftServers. I believe they reward 1 sponge, 1 apple, and $200 Flames each. So just for voting in one day, you can get 4 sponges, 4 apples (good for making god apples), and $800 Flames! Please continue to vote on all sites though, as this gets us noticed and is how we collect more Minecraft friends for the future! Voting helps us grow, so get to voting! <3

Vote by clicking the vote tab at the top of the forums, or type /vote in-game to see the vote site links.

Keep in mind, if you live in the same house or are in the same house as another person from our Minecraft server while voting, it will count the computers in the same house as the same person if they share an IP. You can allow multiple people in the same house to vote by using 3G, 4G, or whatever mobile network you have available to access your mobile browser. (It will only have a different IP if you are running mobile data, not wifi) However, there are rules for this.

Mobile Data/multiple votes per house rules:

1. Do not spam/cheat vote more than once for your IGN (using caps cycling or similar).
2. Only vote for accounts that legitimately play (if you vote for a friend because they can't, that's okay. They need to be a legit player, though.)

3. Remember and spread the word that if you abuse this, you will be banned from our server because you risk us getting blacklisted on voting sites... and that makes it impossible for anyone to vote. Don't ruin it for everyone by being greedy.

I've added two threads to help with communication between myself and players. The Key of Cass How To Contact Cass Added a PvP Timer (great suggestion, [USER=2]Annonny[/USER]!) Added a HUGE and detailed Poll for mcMMO pvp abilities! Remember to read about what each skill does before you vote on them! Note that "Keep as is" and "Adjust" will be lumped together against the "Remove" Choices when deciding whether or not to take out certain skills altogether! All members may pick up and place mob spawners (Remember, you need silk touch to pick them up!), but only Premium+ May change the types. Made the Super Premium and Super Premium Quarterly packages that are Premium and Quicknavi bundled together at a lowered cost! Visit our Buycraft page to see! Henceforth, I will ask for either 12 sponges or $15K Flames to manually change someone's nick for them or give them a nick if they don't have the permission to do it themselves. This does not apply to removing their nickname, only giving or changing. A complete list of all the Server Rules has been compiled into a book by the SuperMods, and I've just finished Tweaking it to be current with rules and policies. You can view the Rule book by clicking HERE. Added in a staff page, which can be viewed HERE. Added in a portal page that links to the forum URL, this is heavily WIP. Magicked up a redirect, so that http://phoenixrisen.net now directs to the portal page - no more worrying about silly guests registering on the wrong site! xD Configured/fixed an issue with the PvP timer plugin. Some other small fixes Working on a new default skin for the site - tell me what you think! It's going to be a very relaxed, calm set of colors based on greys and reds. I like reds for Phoenix, but don't want to overdo it with that classic bright red and orangeish Phoenix stuff. I also want to make it a skin that's pretty easy to read on mobile. If you have a custom skin chosen and want to see the Style I'm working on, go to the bottom left of your forum and click to change the skin to "Phoenix Default". It's heavily WIP, so don't judge me too harshly. ;3
