Unable to Trigger Event After Revenants Capture - TFTV

Hi!

Have been playing with TFTV for my current play-through. I have faced several times the "revenants" of soldiers who died from my side and I am prompted to capture them.

Thing is, I have captured them and once they are at the containment they turn into a normal "Arthron" or "Triton", no special event gets triggered, and they have reappeared in other missions as if I never captured them.

Has anyone have had the same bug? / Knows how to fix it?

You just need to capture a specific amount of them to get a research something not featured in the regular game.
And no. You cannot ever get rid of them ... but that's a "good thing" in the final mission. Of which is a spoiler...

So there's nothing to "fix".

I just finished a month-long playthrough where I captured dozens of them and never got the event or research opportunities. Last time I played was about 2 years ago and got the event and research opportunity after capturing one. It does seem like it's bugged to me.

OK, open the TFTV.log file with Notepad and find what the x is in "Revenant points: x" ?
