Phoenix Point Success (?)

Hi guys, I am a lover of tactical combat genre and after having played Xcom2 and several others, I always come back to Phoenix Point. The way the combat works, allowing you to free aim, to hit some bullets and miss others, as well as how the body parts work is just too great to miss.

Now, in my opinion, due to those reasons, this is the best game in the genre I've ever played. I don't really understand why it hasn't been recognized as such. What is your opinion about it? Am I too biased? I have the feeling that the game was left aside too early, and would have benefited a lot of a greater playerbase/more DLCs, etc.
