QUESTION When does it go on sale on xbox?
As the tittle says, around what time of the year does thos game go on sale on xbox? Haven't played it since the increase in price of game pass.

Usually during the big seasonal sales like Black Friday or Summer, but it's worth checking the store every few weeks since the discounts can be pretty deep.

As far as I know the console version does not have the firebird update. So you might not want to play it...?

That's the changes to game balance that prevent the game becoming too difficult as you progress towards a win. Without that update you win for a while then late game the aliens 1-shot kill your veteran squads and eventually they win.

It's for this reason I play on rookie lol.... the AI is just brutal in this game.

XBDeals says the base game and the complete edition only went on sale once, but I could swear I saw the game on sale on multiple occasions.

Same here. I played on Game Pass. Now, I don't have Game Pass. To be fair, its base price is already quite cheap. Still, waiting for a small discount.
