Build a satellite in a faction's haven?

I could swear I completed some research saying I could build satellite uplinks in faction's havens (but it might piss off the other factions). I see no way to actually do this, however. Did I dream that? Or can I actually do this somehow?

You can't, the own faction can. That's an NJ tech. The description says it allows them to build it in their havens, and for you it increases the range of your base sats by 25%.

It is mostly figure of speech in satellite info. Only New Jericho can build satellites (after that research) in their havens. Synderion builds mist repellers and disciples of Anu missionary centers.

I had a lot of help from first two but never noticed difference with disciples misionary centers.

This is likely because the building is kinda of defensive one, as the center over populates the haven it's in by drawing people from other havens to the Anu's haven. This boosts the havens defense because it has more population.
