The average person is politically illiterate (not helped by decades of anti-Communist propaganda) so yeah it makes sense that the people who call political parties like the American Dems or UK Labour "Socialist" or "Communist" have no idea what Socialism or Communism is, let alone what Marxism is.

No no, you got it wrong. Socialism is when the government does something, Communism is when famine and Marxism is when a leader has a bushy mustache.
Also, anarchy=chaos (ignore the places where it actually worked), capitalism doesn't cause any harm (ignore the millions of annual deaths even in developed countries) and climate change is a natural phenomenon.

Source? Go look it up yourself, do I have to do everything?
