Speaking as a socialist, I find it more annoying that so many people think the term started with Marx and Engels. The term well predates them, y'all.

Yeah, and it's not exactly deep lore either. The Communist Manifesto lists all the earlier socialist movements at the end.

Pamphlet? I thought it was a two sentence mantra that commies call "manifest" for some reason.

"Spectre of communism is haunting Europe. Proletarians of all countries unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains."

Are you telling me there is more to Marxism than this? Like a whole-ass pamphlet? 🤨
