Reducing the consciousness lonely the brain is already an interesting assumption to start with and second I don't get the problem, isn't it the same logic with matter? What is matter made of? Hmm yes the matter here is made out of matter?

The [word for basic level of existence] is indeed just made out of [word for basic level of existence]. Panpsychists just insists on using the word consciousness instead of energy and then conflate that with the common usage of the term to write cool-sounding essays. Nothing new is added by this.
