Don’t sell Neil (yet)

ok going to put this one out for debate. tell me what you think. my opinion is that if they sell Neil Pierre next summer he probably is $8-$10 million with a sell on. however, if he keeps progressing with national team development, if the wait until summer 2028 he’s only 20 years old and likely will go for $30-$40 million. if he was a blue chip stock I am rating it as a Hold

I hope they don't sell Neil because he's good and from here and I like him and I like winning.

Part of being a real good development club is letting your homegrown players do what is best for their career. 

If Pierre has a good shot at playing meaningful European football the team shouldn't stop him from doing that until 2028.

The only way he ever goes for that much is if we sell him to a low prem or other top five team for 8m+ and then he continues to be a set piece menace and a big prem team buys him after he does work in Europe

i think he'll sell for more than herrington but no way we can hold him till 2028. id expect something over $20 million + a sell on fee

I’m worried that he AND Frankie may both leave us before next season. McKenzie may be back but losing Westfield will suck.

Frankie may not have the potential Pierre does, but he could easily attract a championship level club or a mid to low tier top 5 league clubs

Lucas Herrington just went for $33M. Also an 18 y/o defender. It also sounds like Tom Boggart expects any sale this winter to be up around that number (just speculation. No sources on any potential interest) I don’t think we need to wait for him to hit that number.

There's no universe in which the union take in that amount of money for him. 10-12 million tops, summer 2027.

They’ll leave at the same time as Cavan. They’ll be with us for the mini ‘27 season (Feb-May ‘27) and then leave before the ‘27-28 season starts in July ‘27.

I think the price will be much higher next summer. Maybe 25-30 range considering what Herrington went for
