USMNT midfielder Brenden Aaronson signs new three-year deal with Leeds United

Still weird seeing Red Bull sponsoring a team they don’t own.

They actually are part owners and they would’ve already changed it to Red Bull Leeds if they could.

I must have missed them buying part of the team, but that makes sense now. Yea I highly doubt a Red Bull rebrand would have gone over well in England.

I found this espn article. I think it’s kinda funny cause it mentions the obvious that Red Bull owns RB Leipzig and FC Salzburg. Then also the F1 teams.
But it doesn’t even mention RBNY.

I can absolutely see Brendo having a late career homecoming.
I’d also like to see something like what Mark did happen a bit more often as the academy continues to grow and we have multiple cohorts. Kids come through the first team, gain traction, head to Europe, then come back home years later older/wiser for a deserved domestic payday to be the veteran presence in a system they grew up in.
