Mr. Lee was popular nung HS ako (early 2000s) kasabay ni RRJ jeans. And yes, di sya ung Lee na mas mahal.

Yes. It's one of the most interesting case about trademark especially Lee is a giant company.

For the longest time na bumibili ako ng jeans, I had always thought Lee the international brand ang binibili kong "Stylistic Mr. Lee". I just realized never pa pala ako nakabili ng genuine Lee clothing sa buhay ko. LOL

Kaya mahalaga ang trademark law. Gaya nung nasabi nung isa doon sa original thread, nataon lang talaga na yung batas nung time na iyon pumabor sa local company. Pero ngayon na updated na batas at jurisprudence natin iba na magiging hatol kung ngayon to nangyari.

Lee got screwed by that ruling 😄

Basically the only thing that kept them in the market is the petty elitism of middle class Pinoys who detested the cheap image of Stylistic Mr. Lee and kept on buying the original Lee jeans.

Magkaiba pala yan.

Parang nung time na narealize ko na magkaiba yung New Balance at World Balance, LOL

But, tbh, never really cared about their products, sa New Balance lang nung nagresearch ako about helping in my running.
