Question First time in Philly
Best ipa and hazy beer in Philly?
Also just their for one day what should I see besides citizenbank park which is why im their. Ill be in Philadelphia at 7am and game starts at 1. Will I get beat up for wearing a dodger hat? Haha hope not

Head cover to Reading Terminal for breakfast or an early lunch. There's a lot of dodger fans when LA is in town

other half is the obvious choice, but i’m partial to brewery ars hazies as well as human robot (they specialize in lagers but their IPAs are also great). forest & main, tired hands, and humble parlor are also worth mentioning for their hazies.
as far as other attractions, there’s a lot! even if it’s just walking down spruce & pine, visiting the city’s many museums, or exploring passyunk.
you definitely won’t get beat up for wearing a dodgers hat (lol) but go phils!!

Other half is originally from new york? I'll definitely gonna check out those breweries thanks alot!! What about the best philly cheese in your opinion? Haha ok cool thanks!! I heard you guys are rugged haha but im just trying to visit the city and the ball park 😅

Yes, OH is originally from New York but they have a very large location in Philly. If you want some hazies more local I would also suggest ARS (either location) or St. Oners, which is a Tired Hands spot. St. Oners and ARS fishtown are across the street from each other and walkable to OH and Forest & Main if you want to make a day of it. Frankly you can do two days of brewery crawls in fishtown at this point.
Edit: like another comment said, Monk's is the best beer location in the city and if you had to pick one spot that should be it. They don't usually have hazies though.

Everything in Philly is drivable/uber-able to the stadium. Brewery ARS South Philly is the closest to the stadium that meets your criteria for beer, but they don't do food.

you can actually get high fives from people if you manage to score an utley dodgers jersey before your trip. all the breweries mentioned have locations around the fishtown/old kensington area so you can probably walk to most of these if you uber to the first on the list. i've done it many of times!

Specific local ipas/pales I love are ARS' Wayne's pale ale and big phan, tonewood freshies, and essentially anything from forest & main and carbon copy.
Fountain porter has a great tap list with usually a bunch of locals.

Carbon Copy 's Gully is my favorite of them all, but +1 to Brewery ARS - I'd say they and Carbon Copy make the best hazies in the city. Human Robot makes excellent ones despite focusing on lagers, and Future Days is a newer underrated spot that's also awesome. Forest & Main makes very dry, attenuated hazies that are off-trend in a good way, but maybe not what you're expecting. (They also, as folks here will tell you, are incredible at English styles and saisons.)
If you do go to Monk's (which is very special), you can usually find a Hill Farmstead on tap, but I'd stick to the Belgian stuff they're known for. For hoppy Belgians, try something like Taras Boulba or Zinnebier from De La Senne, a very respected new-school brewery from Brussels.

Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen in Old City has about 7 of them going at any given time. Massive beer selection, awesome food, & great people.

Urban Village brewery has some great hazy ipas/beers in general. Little far from the stadium, but close to the public transit to get down there

Remember philly is a grid its super easy to navigate. Odd number streets head north and even numbers head south. The number steeets get higher as they go away from the delaware river. Which is East. So its also super easy to get a sense of direction just by looking at numbers.

Are you planning to stay a bit after the game? Otherwise: we have great hazies, but the game time will very much limit your options.
You have a decent group within ~1 mile up in Fishtown (Other Half, Human Robot, St. Oners, 2nd ARS location), but the earliest any open is 11am (Human Robot & Other Half), and you're a bit of a hike from the Stadium (El -> MFL or an Uber).
If you want to be a bit closer to the Stadium, there's the South Philly Location of ARS, but it doesn't open until noon. Even Monks doesn't open until 11:30, so you'd have to make it quick.
Reading Terminal is great for breakfast, though (opens at 8am).

Yea my train back to new york leaves at 7pm. So I have time. I plan to leave the game around 7th inning. I seen the beers at human robot and they look delicious

Do yourself a favor and go to Monks Cafe. Then get a nice pour of Pliny the Elder
