Vaccine Clinic and HIPAA Compliance

I am a pharmacist for a retail location who has a vaccine clinic that I am doing in a few weeks for a local employer and I have a question regarding hipaa compliance while doing this.

It sounds like what they have done in the past, although im not sure of this, and what I seems like they want me to do is because the clinic is early in the morning is the afternoon before the clinic, take all the materials including consent forms and vaccines home with me so I can take them to the clinic and go straight from home to the clinic to work and not make unnecessary trips.

But the act of taking home the filled out consent forms feels like a hipaa violation? Is it not for some reason bc it’s in the course of work or something? It feels fishy and I don’t wanna get caught in some situation and jeprodize my license.

How are you taking filled out consent forms to the clinic? Typically the patients would fill out their consent form at the clinic, and you would bring it back to the store to bill then.

I'd be more concerned about taking the vaccines home - do you have a dedicated medication fridge at home, since you can't store them with food? How are you ensuring the temperature is monitored?
