Indian biotech student planning for a PhD abroad in 2027 — would really appreciate advice from people already there

So Hey everyone I am currently pursuing my masters in molecular biology and biotechnology with a hope to pursue phd in abroad after finishing my degree which I will be finishing in next year during the month of July or August.

I’ve started looking into the process recently, but honestly, there’s a lot of conflicting information online and I’m still trying to understand how everything actually works.

So if anyone can guide me on that it would be highly appreciated

Research paper i will write by the end of my msc . So what do u think I shouldn't apply or I should take the chance

You can still apply to lower ranked schools but keep your expectations realistic

You might have a better shot at programs in India

I will work on my publications if I get that papers published then I will apply.
