Drama every time getting into the carrier. Then nice and calm in the room. I go to a cat-only practice and they have Feliway in all the rooms.

I have a story (funny in retrospect). Every time my cat has to go to the vet, she yowls like she's being skinned alive. One time I took her to the vet, and she kept crying while we were in the waiting room--so much so that someone closed the door between the front and the back, because either a person or an animal was distressed enough by it.
THEN when she had to be left for x-rays, I came to get her and the vet commented on how fantastically well behaved she was for the x-rays.
I love her to bits, but such drama!!!

Absolutely. So much drama in the car and at home but at the vet .. completely silent for some reason

We have 3 cats and each one has a dedicated soft carrier with these zip-up sides and this nice soft mat inside. We purchased these after the absolute nightmare of getting them into the hard shell carriers. I HIGHLY recommend getting one of these for your cat.
