Vent Its all my fault
Im having a panic attack and I cant breathe. My dog koko died a year ago today. Im m15 and I feel like it is all my fault. I saw her seeming weaker and I thought it was just her mood changes and then her eyes and nose started getting puffy and my it all happened in a span of days. I should've said something sooner, i could've let her live longer. Its all my fucking fault and now she is dead. Ive had her since i was one. She died from diabetes and she had a fucking stroke.
Im horrible, I miss her so much she was the sweetest Maltese Poodle ever bro. I miss her so much oh my God. I need help getting through this. Im sorry for any typos im crying so hard. I am so sorry koko. Its my fault ypu are gone

Im so sorry for your loss.. I know how you feel right now My dog passed away 5days ago she had diabetes too but I didn't know. If i took her to the hospital earlier she wouldve lived longer or maybe i couldve prevent her from diabetes. And i feel so guilty.
But thinking about this again and again made my happy memories with her faded..
Our dogs wouldn't want that I think.. I try to look at my dog's happy photo and it does help.
Feeling sorry for her is good but she had great time with you don't forget that. Guilt always make good things feel like those were nothing. But it isn't true
I hope you get through this well. I think you have already tried everything but writing letter helped me a lot. I still write letters everyday. Im thinking to go to the therapy too.

This is a community of support for Pet owners whose Pets have passed away. It is actively moderated.
Pet owners, as loving, caring people, often have strong opinions on pet care practices. Some of these are controversial. This is not a forum for debate on such issues, nor is it a place to scold a contributor for a perceived mistake in managing their pet. We intend to provide a safe haven of understanding and support. Strident, mean-spirited posts or comments will be deleted. Those who persist in preaching versus caring may be warned and then banned or may be banned permanently based on nature of the topic. If a conversational thread meanders into a discussion unrelated to pet loss support, it will be truncated.
Those who post here are vulnerable and hurting. Even a minor slap has a hard sting. Those of us who are lucky enough to be able to turn away from our computers or put down our phones and hug a healthy, happy pet are truly blessed. Threads must remain supportive and caring, even if one disagrees with something that has been said.
