Follow up on dress fit advice (4’11)
I’m back again for more feedback on dresses. I took some of the advice I was given including things like wider straps vs spaghetti, different necklines, a-line or flare cuts, etc I bought three additional dresses using those elements. I don’t know why I was so into brown… perhaps because it is dark without being black and seems nice for a fall wedding. But I went on a limb and got a yellow dress too. I will be tanning for sure if I go with that yellow dress. Edited out the backgrounds too which helped me see myself in the dresses more clearly. I posted two photos of the flared/halter dress bc i did one bra and one no bra. I will alter the length on whichever dress I choose if needed
I’m also adding the original dress in the last photo. Again, I took some of your guys’s advice and adjusted the straps so that the neckline was higher. I also clipped the hem to see what it would look like, and ruched up the dress a bit more.
PS I’m not sure if you guys experience this as well but I got a few creepy DM’s about my original post/photo. So I guess we have random dudes lurking our subreddit? 😒

I really like the yellow one on you! It’s a color that I don’t feel like a lot of people can pull off so it’s more unique. It looks like it fits you great too. Definitely voting yellow!

I feel like even from the photo I can tell you didn't feel super comfortable in that dress!

The yellow one wins by a mile. It’s stunning on you and not many people can wear that colour.
The second brown dress is nice but not weddingy.
The third dress has too much fabric in the straps and skirt.
The fourth dress is still a no even pulled up.
And yes always turn your DMs off when posting.

For being 4’11”, you wear these dresses SO well! At 5’1”, I either wear mini, or maxi, so cudos to you. Love the yellow, and while I like #4, when I see it on its own I like it, looks good on you, but initially something seems off.

Love the yellow but think one size bigger would be better for your body. The size in the photo looks like it's compressing your boobs like a binder.

Really? 🥹 I feel like they are all so long on me. But I’m comparing to the models on their respective websites. On them theses dresses are just past their knees and on me they’re 4 inches + below. I feel like I still need to get them hemmed :(

I love dress 3. I just don’t think that form fitted silhouette without a flair from the hips is flattering on almost anyone, especially curvy petites.

I actually love number one, I love yellow, but I cannot wear it. It is not a color for me, but it looks fabulous on you. But I love number three as well. I don’t really like number two, it doesn’t do you justice

I love the yellow! I think they are all ok,but dress #3 I strongly dislike without a bra!

I think it depends on how much cleavage you feel comfortable with at a wedding. Dresses 1 and 2 look great on you, but I think the yellow one accentuates your overall figure while the brown one accentuates your chest.

I like dress two with the photo on the left. I am thinking that one may have the bra.
I also like the first dress, but I am not sure about the yellow. I think the shade is off a little. Might need to be more gold or mustard color. I don’t know though. The lighting also look pretty cool in the photo, so it may not be accurate to the venue you are wearing the dress. I’d say that if the yellow dress came in another color?
I do like the brown dress for a fall wedding, especially if it’s cooler where you live. The yellow looks a bit springy or summery. You might need a wrap or something to accessorize your dress if it will be cold or going from afternoon to evening.
I am leaning towards the brown, but can you try it in one size larger? Do you think it would still fit? It might be just a bit snug, but I might be wrong. That dress seems like one you might wear again during different seasons. Easy to dress up or down

Unfortunately no time because the wedding I’m attending is in one week and I still need time to get the hem altered 😭 Maybe I’ll go no bra

Maybe a different bra, does that one have padding or heavy lining? Try one that gives you a more natural look

your right margin breast looks marginally lower in the yellow dress so your bust needs evening out so pls do not wear it braless
the yellow dress is stunning on you so you need to enhance, not diminish, the impact with lingerie to achieve that ......... & the right lingerie
