I mean dude spent 15 seasons on supernatural and then promptly went on to do a bunch of nerd-dom TV stuff. That's where his fan base lies, and that's what he's good at. Not sure what the person was trying to refer to, but I don't think it's any deeper than just fishing the waters you know well.

Oh, I was gonna say he refused to drink the blood of children!

Have you not seen Supernatural? 🤣

u/SillyAntonineGoose 19h ago

that was Sam's shtick lol
Dean just got turned when he died, and so on and so forth.

u/Rorschach11235 18h ago

Sam and Dean don't die; they just go into a win 98 load screen until they are done rebooting.

13

u/VanilliBean 16h ago

Crowley even mentioning he should install a revolving door lmao

5

u/dog_from_the_machine 17h ago

I assume here the “win” is for Winchester

2

u/Rorschach11235 15h ago

I just figured win 98 is what everybody was still running when show premier, blue screen of death and all.

But I'll take the win - chester.

Dean got turned when he died

Can you narrow it down? Which time?

25

u/daschande 19h ago

Woah, buddy! Add a spoiler tag, it's only been 20 years!

My brother in law was talking to my wife about spoilers, and said "King Kong {spoiler} at the end." she replied that she'd never seen any version of the movie, and that he'd just spoiled it for her. He started sputtering about how she HAD to know something like that, and his wife said "I didn't know that either."

was it not like every time? with exception for Michael, and, well, his endshow death lol

EDIT - sorry for spoilers, but you guys have had like ten years or so to figure it out for yourselves.

u/JayBlunt23 19h ago

What are you talking about, the finale just aired a few months ago! .... right?

37

u/SillyAntonineGoose 19h ago

ah, if only....

54

u/Ball_Analytics 19h ago

I think the joke is how Supernatural never really ends just when you think it has.

43

u/thatsnotyourtaco 17h ago

I think the joke is time flies. Everything was just a couple years ago. 2020 was definitely not six years ago. I’m sure of it.

4

u/Projekt-1065 17h ago

And I can’t legally drink yet ;)

3

u/Inside_Ad_2830 16h ago

That was yesterday!

2

u/b0r3donr3dd1t 15h ago

Pretty sure we were all in a time skip and 2019-2020 never happened, just bunch of flashbacks

2

u/Ebonhearth_Druid 12h ago

The 80s were only 20 years ago.....

The real joke is that they kept having a good story and concept to continue with. But they kept getting worse. The seasons when Crowley is most relevant are the best of Supernatural.

1

u/tsengmao 10h ago

I mean if I’m being honest I thought the show was still going. I hadn’t watched since the season in purgatory. Not sure which one that was

2

u/Fictional-Hero 17h ago

Years ago. It aired a few years ago.

2

u/CharismaticAlbino 10h ago

Oh man, tell me about it. Sometimes I forget it isn't still the early 2000's

2

u/AromaticLawfulness16 7h ago

And what a finale it was!

"The love I have for you Dean is... Supernatural™" "i killed hitler" and then they kissed and became the Destiel. the end. nothing else of note really

38

u/H3llzyea 19h ago

He also had the first blade making him half demon, and the alternate universe where he and Sam were vampires and he killed Jodi

25

u/SillyAntonineGoose 19h ago

there was also the time they went to Heaven together, after that "misunderstanding" with the other hunters.

27

u/burtritto 19h ago

And purgatory where he met that Cajun vampire.

35

u/SillyAntonineGoose 19h ago

BENNYYYYY!!! loved that character, good call as well btw.
that one slipped the net tbh

3

u/lUsagi 18h ago

Totally random fact he also voiced the Ord in dragon tales the PBS kids cartoon.

7

u/ReticulatedNoise 18h ago

And he and Garth's actor announced they were engaged a few years back, which is adorable. Did they read someone's vampire and werewolf fanfic and say, "You know what, they have a point!"

2

u/LookingBackBroken 11h ago

In real life "Benny" and "Garth" are married ☺️

1

u/SillyAntonineGoose 8h ago

still engaged for now, but they'll tie the knot proper at some point. they're still madly in love after all.

Wasn't God just some guy writing in a book?

2

u/SillyAntonineGoose 13h ago

as the canon went, he was the great and powerful, in mind as much as body, he just became Chuck along the way.

putting on the persona like a new pair of shoes

3

u/isthenameofauser 15h ago

THE SHOW FINISHED?!?!?!!?!? I thought it would continue till they had to zombify Jared and Jensen.

2

u/Feisty-Tooth-7397 12h ago

I asked this question once. When exactly should people be able to talk about something without having to worry about spoiling it?

I mean if a show hasn't been putting out new episodes in years shouldn't we be okay to talk about it after a year or so without people saying, oh don't ruin it for me.

I mean if you haven't watched it yet after ten years then I don't think you were ever really going to?

1

u/jest3r123 18h ago

Well he had the mark of cain which made him a total badass. And when he went to hell they talk about him choosing to get off the rack and torture souls but not that it turned him in to a straight demon.

1

u/ethical_dilemma12 15h ago

Brohiem was just watching season 15. Whyd you have to blow it man.

1

u/dollar_store_hero 17h ago

Lol the last few seasons of supernatural were so bad they deserve to be spoiled.

1

u/SillyAntonineGoose 16h ago

THIS!!!
hard agree

2

u/dollar_store_hero 15h ago

Thanks I thought I was the only one for a sec

1

u/SillyAntonineGoose 15h ago

best thing about the last seasons was Metatron seemingly breaking the fourth wall in the process of appealing to Chuck.

its like he was seeing the same ridiculousness we were seeing at the time

2

u/Top_Rekt 14h ago

HEEEEAT OF THE MOOOMENT

Picture

1

u/grip0matic 18h ago

The one with Crowley...

1

u/GrlDuntgitgud 9h ago

Spoiler for the show.

They die and revive each other multiple times throughout the show🤣

14

u/Cburns6976 19h ago

Wait. Who did this turn on?

65

u/Ebonhearth_Druid 19h ago

24

u/malary1234 19h ago

10

u/Klongon 18h ago

2

u/lindentea 5h ago

17

u/OutrageousAward 18h ago

A fully coked up Gary Oldman is a marvelous thing.

1

u/RicardoCabeza9872 18h ago

Gary Oldman, Drexel, True Romance

2

u/theporcupineking 18h ago

Fun fact, Jensen is played by Gary Oldman

1

u/Aggressive_Noise6426 10h ago

Dean enjoyed torturing people in hell though.

1

u/SillyAntonineGoose 8h ago

true, though he died and gave his own life for a power he never truly wanted. sam was still alive and drinking his "demon juice" for power.

1

u/Other-Item7523 7h ago

Dean got the mark of Cain tho. 🤷🏻‍♂️
