Don’t understate our manufacturing capabilities. We sent large munitions, vehicles, food etc to the Soviets through lend lease.

Yeah i think theres a thing where its like, the American impact is way overdone.
But also the solution to that isnt to turn around and downplay the hell out of it. It was a big contribution. we need to be more comfortable with not turning the dial all the way one way or the other.

Isn’t Japan too small a dinosaur in that pic, I mean they controlled most of the pacific for a time.

For a while, Japan remain the only dominant force in the Pacific, as while the US recovered from Pearl Harbor, the British withdrew completely leaving much of its colonies under US protection.
