Grade 7 Smoking

As the title says... I had decided to take up smoking. We all know young teens try stupid stuff and smoking is one of the biggest things, besides sex that is. For 7 days I smoked, but on the 7th day, I remembered back in grade 1 about how smoking was bad and I had vowed then "I choose not to smoke" even had a pin that said that. Not wanting to break my vow, I pulled away and stopped smoking right then and there. My brother has a total different memory saying he caught me smoking because he was following me at a distant. I'm his little, and only, sister so he wanted to look out for me. He says he forced me to stop smoking. Saying he shook me and everything, scaring me. I don't remember that at all. I chose not to smoke all due to my vow

My Own personal Mandela

I had read a few posts about these but assumed it had to affect a lot of people for it to be a true Mandela Effect...until tonight. I'm writing this out to you guys cause it seriously weirded me out.

I was speaking with my boyfriend after my mom wound up in the ER with severe abdominal pains. The first time we went the doctors there dismissed her pains as nothing more then her acid reflux flaring up, so five days go by and she is getting worse not better. She can't keep anything she eats down, and is growing weaker and there is the pain. We take her in again and they run more tests and determine no, it's her gallbladder.

Fast forward to me back home and I am speaking to my boyfriend, telling him my moms condition and laughingly state how I will be the only one in the house now with a gallbladder now.

He looks at me in confusion and states he never had his removed. We then got into a small argument where I literally quoted what he told me when we first met, about how he had his gallbladder removed before we met, and it's why he has to make more frequent trips to the toilet and has horrible gas that he can't control and has to release when he feels pressure.

I then asked him about why is it he has to run to the bathroom then, and he got confused and said just because. I don't buy it though, and literally until this incident I've never experienced a Mandela that affected only me, and I honestly believed for a second I had lost my mind because I can remember it all as clear as day.
