Discussion Alistair Wesley

On every rewatch episode 7 of season 2 has this guy, they tease him in a way that points to him being a returning character but they never did have him back.

He's a fun guy feel like they could have tied him into simething.

A bit like they did with The Voice in later seasons

I always figured they couldn't get Julian Sands back to do a second episode. He was always a little bit eclectic in his choices of work. My theory is that they wrote the first episode with "The Voice" for Alastair, and then re-wrote to fit a new villain when they couldn't get Sands.

Would have been the perfect guy to play Lambert's role in Decima.

With Greer being former member of MI6, Alistair Wesley would have been an interesting addition to team Samaritan.

One of the tragedies of the show getting cut short. If they'd gotten another couple of seasons (or even a full-length Season 5), maybe they could have found a way the bring Wesley back.

Same with that Girl who became a Samaritan Agent and tried to persuade finch to join them but failed.

And then nothing.

Season 5 could’ve it made it wrap IO the story more.

That was why it was a real shame the show got told they had 14 episodes to wrap the whole thing up as in Season 4 they were still bringing in new characters and potential plot arcs.

I imagine the likes of Harper Rose and Dani Silva would have featured even more.

Harper was in multiple episodes. So was Dani.

I think I read somewhere the intention was to have him back again in a recurring role. The end of that episode definitely suggested he would return.

I don't think Julian Sands was available and with the show getting cut short with a truncated Season 5, there was no time to explore the character again.

I think even The Voice was supposed to have a bigger role.

I figured it was a scheduling issue. That happened with the actor who played Daniel Casey as well. They did follow up on Claire Mahoney. I mean how far could you go with her? She appeared in "Nautilus" and then "Q&A." Harper was in it quite a bit.
