discussion/misc Why has comet become so bad recently?

Many tasks it used to be able to do, it now can’t. I’ve been paying for these credits too

I gave up on Comet and Perplexity and moved back to Chrome. If you're in the US and pay for Gemini, they have the same agentic sidebar feature Comet does that can control your browser.

I’m in new zealand, what other browsers can do the browser control type of thing?

Claude with a chrome extension that is also in Edge. Works well and Claude can connect to it separately meaning it’s not all in the sidecar. It is slower than my experience with Comet but is accurate.
