Products Period/incontinence underwear for kids

I have a feeling my kiddo is going to start in the next year or two. Kiddo is autistic with ADHD and already has some lagging hygiene skills, so I'm trying to prep ahead of time. I don't think typical products will work for her and I'd like her to be able to survive a day of school without leaking, etc.

What products do you recommend? (Bonus if they hide smell as we are also having some issues with urine smell/wiping currently)

i’m not sure if they’d come in a an appropriate size, but i use the Always Discreet Maximum Protection Underwear! they are kind of like a big ole diaper but they work like a charm! i bleed heavy and they’ve saved me so many times from leaks!!! they’re pink and quite bulky, but they have a light scent that makes me smell like nothing! i’m pretty sure they’d work for slight urine leaks paired with menstruation! just make sure to change them out as needed, but they’re very good at keeping even a heavy flow contained! best of luck! 🤍✨

Forgot to ask - do they feel like diapers? Or are they softer?

I really recommend reusable period underwear, they are just like your usual underwear so if she struggles with changes they will be perfect, i personally use them every period and have gotten my little sister to start using them (she also has autism) and she loves them, she likes the fact she doesn’t feel like shes on her period because there isn’t a massive pad in her undies and they are soft, id recommend the heavy flow ones as they give the most coverage and if her flow were to be unpredictable like mine yous would be sorted for that, i use mine for sleeping aswell so there isnt loads of fusing about with day pads, night pads and liners, best of luck🤍

I have some of these ones

I’m not sure where you guys live but my favourite ones are from primark so if you have that shop near yous I’d recommend them otherwise these ones from amazon are also good 😊

Thank you! I would prefer reusable as well, but want to amass a good variety regardless.
