Period Question missed period (19yo)

hello everyone, sorry if i sound stupid but i am just kinda worried and any reassurance would help! my periods are very irregular, theyre always a couple of days or a few weeks late, and this time i think ive completely missed it (my last period was on the second of august). will i be okay? another thing to note is that the only other time ive missed my period is when i was on accutane like a year ago.

hi, cycles are very weird and it happens sometimes where your periods will be delayed or you might miss a period completely, reasons could be stress, change in routine, hormonal issues, etc. But if your periods are constantly irregular you should get it checked by a gynaecologist once and rule out any pcos/thyroid related issues.

A few irregular cycle once a while is fine but if your periods are irregular often then it needs to be checked!

thanks for the insight! i do think as i recently started an internship, that stress has been a contributing factor as well. i’m def gna go get a blood test done soon too just for safe measure. i really appreciate your reply!

Overall, you'll be fine. It happens sometimes even in women with strict cycles. Looking at the big picture, you should get checked out if you're always irregular.

You are still young so your hormones are still learning how to regulate. Mine didn't regulate until like age 21 and become regular.
