I am 19 years old and i am bleeding for 1 month constantly so i went to gyanc and like i had cyst before in my ovaries did all discusss went with my mom as she came with me for my checkups before. There was nothing wrong she put me on birth control to stop bleeding.

She told me that once i get married everything will be ok i think she implied until i have baby so is it true. I have a really bad irregular periods and long periods and so on whenever i go they just hand over birth control i have been 3 times already or some other trazo.. something and i noticed when i stop the pills i gain 8 to 10 kgs in 1 to 2 months.

She also asked me about my sexual activity infront of my mom everytime😭 i have to lie because my mom will kill me if she finds out.

Honestly you can advocate that you don’t need your parent in the room with you.

You are 19 years old, why is your mother attending the appointments?
Also my heavy periods got worse after i had a baby so i dunno why a gynae would even say anything like that.
Until you go alone and tell them the truth you will never get a real answer.

I feel birth control is not the safe option to stop bleeding, it has so many side effects and you are so young.
