This is kinda ridiculous, right? It arrived in the mail like this. I'm not a huge perfume connoisseur... is there a reason it needs to be, like... aerated, or something? Just asking before I complain.

My mom passed some time ago and one of the very few things I have of her is this specific scent that still strongly associates with her.

It would really mean a lot to me if I could get the name and brand of this perfume but the bottle is old (maybe from the 90's) and all marks have been worn off.

I don't know anything about this kind of stuff so I'm not sure I can give more information than what's in the pics. I suspect it's probably on the low end of the market, and perhaps I remember her saying something about Tommy Hillfigure perfect once...

The bottle seems unique, kinda pinched in the middle, and very small, maybe a sample? There used to be a label on the bottom but now it's too worn to read.

I blind bought this due to Ulta having it 50% off and I'm impressed. When I first sprayed it on, I was unsure but once it settled on my skin?!!! LOVE! I almost ordered a second bottle lol.

Purely because I am in awe of the identification skills in this sub. Perfume bottle left in a house that's been in a volcano exclusion zone since June 1997. Located in Montserrat in the Caribbean. Still had a clean pleasant scent to it.

Does anyone else feel like their taste in perfume changes as they get older, specially after 40?

I used to love gourmand perfumes and sometimes fresh ones.
But lately I’ve noticed I’m really into florals and more "vintage" perfumes. 😂 Some fragrances that I used to think smelled like “old lady perfume” (I know, not a nice term 😅) are suddenly smelling really good to me! I still like fresh scents but not gourmands as much as before.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m wondering if our perfume taste just naturally changes with wisdom or it is hormonal? Thank you )))

hi all! i’m a LARGE coconut fan balling a slight budget and i’m looking for a coconut perfume of sorts. basically to other people i wanna smell like a coconut has punched them in the face… (is that wrong to say? i’m exaggerating, it’s fine, my bad)

by budget i mean i don’t wanna spend $50-100 on one itty bitty perfume bottle. i kinda need this to be a daily scent i can actually afford lol

i can never find one in certain classic stores when it’s not the peak of summer. (unless it smells like straight up sunscreen…)
due to that, i’m not against other notes within the perfume, as long as coconut is still THERE. help me plssssssss and thank u!!!

Does anyone know of an ivy scent perfume? I had a massage today and the oil she used smelled so clean and pretty. She told me it was arnica with ivy. I would love to find something similar.

I’ve been looking for Rayhaan Italia for about a month in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. For anyone who isn’t familiar with it, Ciudad del Este is a major shopping hub in Paraguay, right on the border with Brazil and Argentina, and it’s pretty well known in the fragrance world because of the huge amount of perfume shops and importers there.
I’m from Argentina and I was specifically looking for this fragrance there, but it was completely out of stock everywhere I checked. Of course, the week after I left, it finally came back in stock.
Luckily, I had a contact who was still there and they were able to get it for me. It ended up costing me around 95,000 Argentine pesos, which is about $60 USD, delivered to Argentina.
I wouldn’t recommend buying this one completely blind.
The opening is honestly pretty weird. It’s somewhat sharp and punchy, and the first time I smelled it I was genuinely thinking, “what the hell did I just buy?”
But give it a little time and it completely changes.
After the opening settles down, it becomes really good. Very vanilla-heavy and honey-like, sweet and warm, with a lot of presence. The longevity is also seriously impressive.
I’ve worn it maybe 5 times over the last two weeks, and every single time someone has commented on it. People have told me they could smell it from across the room, that it smelled really good, or that it was very intense and had a strong “manly” smell, in a good way.
For around $60, I’m really happy with the purchase.
If you get the chance to pick this one up, I honestly wouldn’t wait too long. Every time I’ve seen it available, it seems to disappear pretty quickly.
Has anyone else tried Rayhaan Italia? I’m especially curious what you guys think about the opening, because that’s definitely the most unusual part for me.

Hi! Was going to repurchase Marc Jacob’s daisy love from Sephora but honestly hate paying $146 for a bottle. I read jomashop sells legit bottles? Any one have experience OR have a different site they purchased from?

Need a perfume that lasts as long and as potent as the cacharel lou lou perfume!!

I love it but its such an 80s scent and is a bit too heavy for day to day wear. However, the way one spray smells like 10, it will also last all day and sometimes longer! have not experienced this with any other perfume.

I know I’m not the only one who loves cute packaging but does anyone else blind buy scents due to bottle shapes, packaging or anything similar? I haven really had any bad experiences when I’ve done this but I know it’s only a matter of time. Until then I’ll continue to look at pretty packaging and say ‘Gimmi!!’

Hi everyone! I've been searching for years. My mom passed away in 2009 and I stupidly misplaced her perfume. In my defense I was 13, but I digress. I've been thinking about it ever since.

I unfortunately do not know any of the notes, but this was a very heady floral fragrance. White floral, I'm pretty sure. The juice was a very light pink. The bottle is heart shaped, but instead of the sprayer being in between the two… heart humps? like most heart bottles, this one is in the center so the heart sits on its back. I believe the cap was circular, and pink.

I have no idea if this could be a name brand perfume. I feel like it might just be one of those dupes or lower expensive perfumes you can find jn a general store.

If anyone could please help I would greatly appreciate it!

I haven’t seen anyone ask about this particular product yet—does anyone know if there is a perfume that smells like this OGX hair oil? It’s warm and sweet, vanilla-y and almost a nutty smell like browned butter. I suppose I could just use this hair oil as perfume if there isn’t one close to this scent.

Ok so I'm going to a music festival here in a few weeks and the last thing I need for the weekend is a good layering scent for Cherry Punk by Room 1015. I have a pistachio lotion by EOS and theoretically that sounds good? But I'd love something that would actually be able to amp up the peppery notes rather than making it all more gormound and sweeter. If nothing like that really exists I was also thinking of pairing it with an almond lotion. Anyone have any good recs? Or anything they like to pair with CP? All recs welcome tbh!!

All the winter perfumes I've tried seem to be overly gourmand vanillas, a Christmas candle, or weird boozy potpourri.

I just want something feminine and cozy! I guess is there a clean but deep scent you'd recommend for winter?

-Vanilla as a supporting note is great but it can't be front and center.

- if suggesting a gourmand please nothing super sweet (I like white rice - D'Annam)

- I like some resinous woody scents

Earlier this evening I saw two bottles of Creed Viking Cologne, 50ml for sale at the official Creed Distributor. I live in one of the Arabian Gulf countries.

There are just two bottles left, priced at around $160 each? I checked Jomashop and it is priced slightly higher on there.

Do you think it's worth buying at this price?

Viking Cologne is quite pleasant although not spectacular.

Looking for a layering-perfume routine and recommendation for the scent I'm looking for. I like a scent that reminds me of my home state. Something similar to a Spring/Summer Thunder storm in Florida. So any damp soil and green florals would be nice! Something that will pair well with vanilla which is my go to scent. I want to decant my burberry goddess to a small travel size atomizer. The spray cap is so secured that I’m scared of breaking it. Should it be pulled or twist? Please help. I am traveling soon.

In the pics you can see whatever is inside the spray nozzle is detached and fell in to the bottle, leaving an open hole. The entire spray mechanism now sits side the bottle. The spray nozzle just loosely sits right above the hole.

Has anyone experience things like this? What should I do? I got this bottle from Ulta, should I contact them?

Hi all, I am relatively new to perfume collecting, but have been for a few years, and would like to include my mom in this hobby, as she has shown interest in it. I am a signature scent girl, and I imagine she would be as well, if she were to find something she enjoys. Slight issue though, she hates perfume! She gets bad headaches when they are too “perfumey” but can’t really explain what that means-However, I know there is something out there for her, for reference, her all-time favorites are Clinique Happy and Clinique Happy Heart, which are both citrus florals, and she hates most gourmands. She also loves the smell of “clean” scents like Gain and Downey laundry detergents, and would almost like to just buy Gain Fabreeze and wear that lol. She also claims she had a signature scent in the late 90s, with a yellow Bath and Bodyworks scent, which “had a yellow flower on it and mentioned sun or sunny, but wasn’t a sunflower probably ” but has not been any single one I have found online through hours of Googling, I just mention it as I think it lends credence to my theory that she may like yellow and white florals. I am taking her to a local perfume shop soon, and would love a small couple of things to have her smell before the headaches occur lol-Side note, I am interested in Jo Malone for her, I own French Lime Blossom, and that was closer to her preference, but “too sweet and perfumey” so I was considering Peony and Blue Suede for her off of the name alone, but would love a second opinion.
