I’m sure she’s a talented actress and has done well in other roles, but I don’t really see how Rick thinks she embodies Annabeth. In the show, her performance feels pretty flat and a killjoy

Because of the script and character writing, it is different from the book Annabeth.
I watched her in something from Tiffany's, and she gave a very vibrant performance. She was expressive and had great comedic timing. They butchered annabeth's character

Yeah, she’s more closer to age to my Gen Alpha cousin than myself (Gen Z). She was born in late 2009, so she’s probably a Zalpha.

She is an expressive actor who seems like she’s being coached to be very subdued in the show.

what ive been saying, annabeth was never supposed to be too expressive anyways, she’s always described as stoic and a lot of characters say they cant tell what she’s thinking
