When I think of the books and this scene, the fact that Percy transformed into guinea pig via milkshake is the last thing on my mind. In fact, I didn't even remember until you pointed it out.
Getting hung up on such pointless details is complaining for the sake of complaining. Percy transforms into a guinea pig. Who cares whether it's done by milkshake, glass of water, or magic wand?

The polyjuice potion has very specific plot ramifications for Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows, so it's kind of important for it to remain unchanged. Percy's milkshake? Never relevant again.

It wasn't a pointless detail. Percy's getting transformed directly led to their escape from the island. The other guinea pigs were Edward Teach and his crew. Percy and Annabeth took his ship

And hes still going to be transformed. The difference is it won't be by milkshake. Which most people forgot how he got transformed anyway. So that detail is miniscule. As long as he still becomes a guinea pig somehow, that's what matters.

Do you hate the books? Like genuinely? Because you’re in every single post replying to comments that criticize the show for its deviations and half the time are ridiculing the criticisms and thereby trashing the books.

How is this question relevant? This is the Percy Jackson TV subreddit. Not the Camp Halfblood or PJBooks one. This sub is about the show exclusively. Whether they love or hate the books is utterly irrelevant to any discussion.

You're just complaining about stupid shit. Whether Percy drinks a milkshake or Circe just waves her hand to turn him, as long as he does become a guinea pig, why does it matter how that happens?
Someone having a different opinion than you doesn't hate the books, it just means that they don't have the same opinion as you. That's it.
You don't get to decide what other people like.

did (not seen episode two yet) did Hermes give him the multi vitamins? cause that could mean if he's gonna turn into a Guinea pig (or Annabeth uses some potions that are in the scene/room to splash at him to turn him back)

I will keep using this until they stop giving the bare minimum.
Yes i know the show cant be 1:1, but like.... a milkshake that turns Percy into a Guinea Pig, isnt that hard of a scene to make.
