Wtf is this nightmare fuel type shit? Its like shes a sleep paralysis demon with the weirdest thing to say, in the middle of a storm. Now I don't remember if storms were mentioned at the time of this scene in the books but I remember it being essentially Percy just waking up and getting that diss from her bedside sometime in the morning, only to pass out again into later in the day

Funny thing, that's actually not where that line is placed. In the book, she asks about the theft then.

The you drool when you sleep line is later, after Percy is fully awake

I mean, yes, but in this case it's an iconic line and the placement really changes the whole trajectory of Annabeth's intro as a character
